Patient flow, acuity, staffing and nurse competency present daily challenges for effectively meeting patient needs. Collaboration and communication are necessary to create a healthy work environment in which staff can thrive. The facilitators discuss tiered staffing models and orientation processes which are sustainable beyond the pandemic. This foundational session provides attendees with flexible options in which crisis practice can transform daily operations.
