Using our voices to express our convictions, share knowledge, influence change or advocate for patients or families gives us power as individuals and as a profession which is something we need now more than ever. This intermediate session develops your ability to influence one person or 300 with effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills through demonstration and live examples. Objectives

  • Outline strategies for using your voice to facilitate learning in small or large groups to effect change.
  • Determine techniques for constructing your message and use of nonverbal tools to enhance engagement and learning.
  • Examine key planning techniques to improve overall effectiveness in your ability to share knowledge and influence with facilitation.
