About Melissa

Melissa Jones is a professional writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience in various aspects of journalism. She’s done community news editing for Southern California’s Orange County Register and advocacy journalism for the National Catholic Reporter. She served for almost 10 years as managing editor of AACN’s American Journal of Critical Care, and is an adjunct professor who teaches ethics and liberal studies at Brandman University in Irvine, Calif.
