Project Goals/Objectives

  1. To decrease the incidence of CAUTIs in the NSCU by 25 percent
  2. To increase and sustain compliance in catheter care and removal

Project Outcomes

  1. Reduced the number of CAUTIs 26 percent
  2. Reduced the number of device days 31 percent
  3. These outcome resulted in a projected annual fiscal impact of $112,000.
