    Project Goals/Objectives

    1. Improve quality by involving patients in report by June 2016
    2. Improve safety for patients by decreasing negative patient events by June 2016
    3. Improve communication between nurses by standardizing report by July 2016
    4. Improve patients’ knowledge of their care by involving them in their report by June 2016

    Project Outcomes

    1. Decreased nursing incremental overtime during the time period of Aug. 2015 to Aug. 2016
    2. Improved patient satisfaction via qualitative survey based on discharge phone call data
